Digital Literacy Courses through RuBICON offer free training to help you use the internet, build computer skills, manage online tasks, and take advantage of digital tools that make life easier. Whether you’re new to technology or ready to learn more, these classes give you the support, practice, and guidance you need to succeed online.
These courses are open to all community members and designed for every experience level. Each class offers simple, hands-on lessons taught by friendly instructors who are here to engage with you on your level. All courses are available in English and Spanish.
Learn the basics of using a computer, browsing the internet, setting up email, staying safe online, and finding reliable information. This beginner-friendly class includes hands-on practice, real-world examples, and step-by-step support to build confidence with everyday tools.
This course introduces business structures, licensing, compliance, bookkeeping, budgeting, taxes, and marketing. You’ll explore digital tools like QuickBooks and Excel and gain the skills to organize your ideas, manage finances, and move your business forward with confidence.
In this hands-on beginner class, you’ll learn to create a résumé, build a simple budget, and design a presentation you’ll be proud to share. With real-world projects and supportive instruction, you’ll gain skills you can use at home, school, or work.
This intermediate class builds on what you learned in Office Applications I. You’ll work with styles, templates, formulas, and charts, and learn how to create strong presentations and analyze data with PivotTables. This course is ideal for learners who already know the basics and want to grow their skills.
This introductory class helps you safely and confidently connect with your doctor online. You’ll practice downloading and using telehealth apps, protecting your privacy, and preparing for virtual appointments. With guided lessons and mock sessions, you’ll gain the confidence to manage your care digitally.
